  • No! Everyone has a pelvic floor, and anyone can have dysfunction with their pelvic floor muscles. This means anyone can benefit from pelvic floor therapy whether you had children many years ago, never had children, are currently pregnant or recently postpartum.

  • Yes! Not only is pelvic floor therapy important for people dealing with urinary or bowel incontinence, but it can also help with several other conditions. Low back pain, hip pain, SI joint pain, and pelvic pain can also be addressed with pelvic floor therapy. Your pelvic floor functions with your deep core muscles and diaphragm which are essential for stability and breathing as you run.
